As a sister, do I have to attend all events?
As an active sister, there are a certain number of sorority events, as well as some specific mandatory events, that you must attend per term. In addition to these events, we have a weekly meeting of the entire chapter. Most sisters agree that the event requirements are very manageable. Excusals will be made for classes and other situations/conflicts that may arise. Members can also go passive, where they are still an active member of the sorority but are not required to go to events if necessary. There are also decreased event requirements for members on co-op.

Keep in mind that recruitment terms are twice a year (fall and spring) and we may not be recruiting at the present. Recruitment events are open-campus and you are welcome to come!
How can AΩE help my professional development?
AΩE holds many professional development events. Common events involve meeting with AΩE alum and learning about their careers and experiences. Before co-op interviews, events for resume editing as well as mock interviews are held. Furthermore, professional and social events are held with other organizations as a way for members to expand their networks and opportunities.
As a new member, you will also have a sorority “family” with alum to reach out to!
What are the requirements to join AΩE ?
